Updated on: Monday 22/05/2023

Karachi, April 30, 2023: Greenwich University's Ali Jillani conducted a session with young thought-leaders in Tourism from around the world at IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria. The symposium focused on artistic brilliance, cultural diversity, and historical residue of Pakistan showcasing the very best of the nation. The discussions revealed that Pakistan as a nation has a lot of positives to bring to the table, has a history of doing so, and it's high time that the world started acknowledging it. Mr. Jillani also challenged the stereotypical portrayal of Pakistan in the Western Media and elaborated on the country's struggles in its fight against terrorism as well as its contributions to global peace through UN Peacekeeping missions, among others. He emphasized the need for rational empathy from the International Community, juxtaposing Europe's own struggles in the past and its miracle today, to make it easier for smaller countries to survive and thrive
