Karachi, August 26, 2023: Greenwich University hosted a literary Urdu Conference celebrating the language's richness. Led by Mr. Faham Haqqi, students of the Functional Urdu Course organized the event. The conference was presided by renowned senior journalist and literary critic, Mr. Waris Raza. Esteemed writers like Usman Jamei and Muslim Ansari, along with renowned poets including Syed Kami Shah, Hidayat Sair, and more, graced the occasion. Discussions encompassed cultural heritage, linguistic evolution, and contemporary themes, enriching the literary discourse. The conference highlighted Urdu's influence, bridging perspectives and fostering unity through poetry and prose.
