Course Overview

Candidates having Matriculation / O-Levels and above are eligible to apply for this course.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Confidently read, understand, and appreciate a range of contemporary literary texts
  2. Begin to demonstrate an awareness of how to frame research or creative problem and devise ways of addressing it in the context of creative writing.
  3. Think rigorously about contemporary texts and the context of their production.
  4. Prepare and deliver polished and carefully edited samples of creative writing (through a series of exercises and drafts).
  5. Critically evaluate their own and others written material.
  6. Engage productively and respectfully with their peers.

Mr. Muhammad Yousha N/A

Muhammad Yousha completed his Masters in English Literature from the University of Karachi. He is also currently teaching at Greenwich University as a member of the visiting faculty. He has been teaching Poetry to master’ level students. Yousha’s varying interests include film, photography, and literature, in pursuit of which he has worked as a Faculty Advisor for a literary magazine and organizing member for the theatre and poetry clubs and ‘Ideas in the Making’ discussion group sessions at the English department at the University of Karachi. His poetry will be published in an upcoming anthology “A Greenness Grows” which includes poetry from teachers in the English department over the course of the past 50 years.
